From a banking and finance background Dean became an IFA in 2001 and quickly established himself as a mortgage and protection specialist within the family business, Trinity Financial Services NE Ltd. Dean holds a diploma in mortgage advice and practice, the highest qualification attainable in the UK for mortgage advisers.

In January 2016 following their father’s retirement, Dean and brother James decided to set up their own independent financial services company and Parlett Financial was born. Fully qualified to give advice across the whole spectrum of financial services much of Dean’s time is still dedicated to providing independent mortgage advice for his existing clients whilst warmly welcoming new clients with a multitude of different needs and aspirations. Dean is married with 4 children and spends much of his spare time enjoying family life including days out and playing with his little ones at home. He is also an avid football fan, although his team will remain anonymous!

Director

James has been involved in the financial services industry since 1998, firstly as a paraplanner, before becoming an independent financial adviser in 2001.

Since then, James has worked as a retail investment adviser, providing holistic financial advice in all areas of financial planning. He now works closely with our corporate clients, providing advice on employee benefits and protection. His main areas of expertise are that of pensions and investments, both personal and corporate, and these are his main focus here at Parlett Financial.

James is married with two young children. He enjoys an active role in the community and is a keen musician.
